Coronation Big Lunch

Today our team gathered for our CoronationBigLunch, which had a strong emphasis on cake! : )

Along with some of the treats we enjoyed, pictured is the official emblem to celebrate the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III on 6 May 2023.

The emblem, depicting the flora of the four nations in the shape of St Edward’s Crown, has been created with the flora of the four nations of the United Kingdom: the rose for England, the thistle for Scotland, the daffodil for Wales and the shamrock for Northern Ireland. Together, the flowers create the shape of St Edward’s Crown, used for the coronation of British monarchs. The emblem was designed by Sir Jony Ive KBE with his creative collective LoveFrom and it symbolises and celebrates the historic beginning of the new Reign.

Enjoy the Coronation Weekend all!

Top Tip: don't eat too much cake! ; )
